Who am I?

One of life's greatest callings is to raise a family. It is also one of life's most challenging tasks! After waiting a painful five years for God to bless us with our first child, we were excited when our oldest daughter came along. 20+ years later, one of our children is married, the second is almost finished with college, and one is just beginning his college journey. It's been a long and interesting journey ...

The journey has been full of educational opportunities ... both academic and life-related. We have focused on educating our children, and found that we have learned as much as we've taught. 

The people who have most impacted my life are those who are a little further down the road ... that come alongside and share their experiences ... their failures and successes ... and are patient with me as I face my own. My desire is to look back along the path and come alongside those who are just beginning their journey ... or who are discouraged with their current spot on the trail. Some very special people invested in my journey, how could I not do the same?
